Olli Pietiläinen, Ph.D

Olli Pietiläinen, Ph.D., is a group leader at the Neuroscience Center (NC), Helsinki Institute of Life Science, University of Helsinki and a visting researcher at the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. His group focuses on combining genomic approaches and molecular cell biology in iPSC derived neuronal models to study psychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders. Olli Pietiläinen graduated as Ph.D. from the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland, University of Helsinki. Prior to joining NC in Helsinki, Dr Pietiläinen worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at  Harvard University, department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology with Professor Kevin Eggan.
